iPhone LiDAR · Point Cloud · 3D Scanning
Manifold turns that point cloud into a floor plan, 3D model, and remote measurements — automatically. No specialist software. No post-processing. Just walk the room for 60 seconds.
What is a point cloud?
When your iPhone Pro scans a room, its LiDAR sensor fires thousands of laser pulses per second. Each pulse bounces off a surface and returns — and the phone records the exact 3D position of that point in space. The result is a point cloud: millions of precise coordinates that together describe the geometry of the room.
Traditional point cloud workflows require specialist hardware (Leica, FARO, Matterport), specialist software (Autodesk ReCap, Cyclone), and hours of post-processing. Manifold takes the same point cloud data from your existing iPhone Pro and turns it into a finished floor plan and 3D model automatically — in minutes, not days.
Rent a Leica or FARO scanner. Hire a technician. Register multiple scan positions. Import into ReCap or Cyclone. Wait days. Pay thousands.
Open Manifold on your iPhone Pro. Walk the room for 60 seconds. Get a floor plan and 3D model automatically. $24/user/month.
“Manifold allows our Virtual Construction department to scan a jobsite in a moment’s notice and begin utilizing the deliverable within a couple hours. This is something that we need as a department due to the fast-paced nature of the construction industry.”
