How it works
Manifold uses the LiDAR sensor already in your iPhone Pro to capture precise 3D geometry of any interior space. No setup, no calibration, no extra hardware.

Tap Floor Plan Scan in the Manifold app. The scanner uses your iPhone Pro's LiDAR sensor to map the room as you walk. A live preview shows walls and dimensions being captured in real time.

Move through the room at a normal walking pace. Manifold automatically captures wall geometry, room dimensions, and spatial relationships. Most rooms are complete in under a minute.

Manifold generates a structured 2D floor plan with labeled walls and dimensions. Share it with clients, engineers, or subs via a single link — no account or app download needed on their end.

Accuracy & requirements
📱 Device requirement
Interior scanning requires iPhone 12 Pro or newer — any model with a LiDAR sensor. This includes: iPhone 12 Pro / Max, 13 Pro / Max, 14 Pro / Max, 15 Pro / Max, 16 Pro / Max, and iPad Pro from 2020 onwards. Standard iPhones (without Pro) and Android devices do not support LiDAR scanning. Android users can still use all photo, checklist, and reporting features.
📍 Accuracy
Accurate to approximately half an inch on most flat surfaces. Sufficient for renovation planning, material ordering, as-built documentation, and client handoffs. Not intended as a replacement for survey-grade precision required for structural engineering or legal boundary work.
