Manifold is a field documentation app for contractors. It combines GPS-tagged photos, 3D scanning on any phone (Orbit Measure), iPhone LiDAR floor plans (Floor Plan Scan), required-photo inspection checklists, photo-verified punch lists, and branded PDF reports — all working offline on iOS and Android. Built by Origami XR. Pricing starts at $16/user/month with no seat minimums.
Manifold is built by Origami XR, founded by Erik Peterson. Erik handles engineering and direct customer support — every support ticket reaches him personally. The company has been operating for over a decade.
Trade contractors (restoration, roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting), renovation contractors, small general contractors, estimators, and inspectors. Primary buyer profile is 1–20 person crews where every crew member is in the field doing documentation work.

No. Solo contractors pay for one seat. A 2-person crew pays for two seats. There is no per-account minimum at any plan tier. This is the primary pricing differentiator vs CompanyCam, which requires 3 users on every plan.

Yes. Native Android app with full feature parity to iOS — GPS-tagged photos, required-photo checklists, punch lists, PDF reports, and Orbit Measure 3D scanning all work identically. The only iOS-exclusive feature is Floor Plan Scan, which requires iPhone Pro LiDAR (an Apple platform constraint).
Yes. Photos, checklists, punch list items, and 3D scans all capture offline and store locally on the phone. Background sync runs automatically when the phone reconnects to cell or Wi-Fi.
Any iPhone running iOS 15 or newer. Any Android phone running Android 10 or newer. Floor Plan Scan additionally requires iPhone 12 Pro or newer Pro model with LiDAR.
Yes. Orbit Measure produces measurable 3D scans from a 10–60 second video walked with any iOS or Android phone — no LiDAR required, accurate to within half an inch. Floor Plan Scan generates dimensioned 2D floor plans on iPhone Pro models with LiDAR.
No. Orbit Measure uses computer vision processing on a short video. Any iOS or Android phone with a working camera can capture an Orbit Measure scan.
Within half an inch on typical interior spaces. Validated against laser-measured reference dimensions.
A typical room scan with Orbit Measure takes 10–60 seconds of walking with the phone. A small residential project (5–8 rooms) can be fully scanned in 20–30 minutes.
A digital inspection checklist where each item is locked until a photo is attached. Used for pre-drywall inspections, restoration room intake, painting QC, MEP rough-in inspections, and any inspection workflow where photo evidence matters.
A closeout punch list where every item requires a "before" photo when created and an "after" photo to mark complete. The complete button is locked behind the photo upload. Eliminates "marked complete but not actually done" disputes.
